You guys. I have become a total leather addict this winter. I love the edgy vibe it brings to every outfit. I live in my leather jacket these days. But, most of the leather pieces I own won’t be working with warmer weather approaching… so I employed the talents of my friend, personal stylist, and Le Curate co-founder, Sara Pollan DiMedio, to help a girl out.
By incorporating pastels and a lighter leather layer we put together a look that totally transitions into Spring and adds some really chic pieces to the wardrobe.
I’m not about to give up on my t-shirt and jeans for my everyday go-to, but that doesn’t mean I can’t kick it up a notch. Sara topped this leather bustier over a pale pink tee that worked perfectly for a rocker vibe. I don’t know that I would have ever guessed leather on leather could work like this, but the leather button-up she pulled topped things off perfectly!

Who says you have to ditch the leather jacket at all for spring? Sometimes, it’s all about the accessories – and a hit of color.
Sandals and fedoras are definitely spring-worthy accessories, but nobody says they have to be colorful or white. Studded suede, a clutch that lets them know who’s boss, and a woven hat – in black of course – are all a nod to warmer weather.
And we can’t forget the dresses…

I love this dress that’s leather in the front and stretch in the back. Not something I would normally think of an any-season piece, but topped with a lighter patterned top, it’s given a fun twist! And with the spring weather in Seattle, layers like this are always welcome.
The expertise of my friend Sara and co-founder Allison are now available for all of you to enjoy thanks to the launch of their site Le Curate today! This dynamic duo really help push the boundaries in your comfort zone and your closet – I can’t wait to share more about them soon, but for now, check out the rest of the editorial we put together on their site!
